Coronado Summer Winding Down

It's been another wonderful summer in Coronado. Sadly – kids are back in school and while there may be a few more weeks to work on the tan and walk around in boy shorts  – soon, the chill will be back in the air, the water will be wet-suit only and the hoodies and sweatpants will get dug out from the back of the closet. But just for a little bit longer – if you come to Coronado – you can hang on just a bit longer to that summer feeling. Perhaps a bonfire pit on a Thursday night (no [...] Click To Open This Post

Happy July 4th from Coronado

coronadoflowersfourth

If you're not already watching the 63rd Annual Independence Day Parade, you're probably recovering from the 52nd Annual Rough Water Swim which happened this am at Central Beach. But most Coronado locals and visitors are attending the parade, which is a BIG DEAL every year in Coronado and one of the largest home-town Parades in the Country. In addition to the parade, the 'Art in the Park' artisans will be set up – and various industrious teen businesses selling everything from Soda's to Flags will be out in force today as well. At 4:00pm there will a Concert in the [...] Click To Open This Post

Coronado Activities This Weekend – June 24-26

winestyles coronado

Looking for activities to participate in Coronado this weekend, starting Friday June 24 through Sunday June, 26, 2011? Here's a sampling:   Friday, June 24, 2011 Coronado Village Movie Theater Grand Opening to the Public. Address – not a requirement, you can't miss this building. Not only does the building sport the original Art-Deco style tower, but the marquee is electronic and (some might say is too loud and colorful) but apparently resembles the original theater's marquee, without the technology. Located on Orange Avenue between the Union Bank and CVS. The first run movie being shown at this theaters opening [...] Click To Open This Post

On September 30, The Cost of a Mortgage Could Skyrocket!

MORTGAGECOSTS

Dear CoronadoBeat Readers, On September 30, the cost of a mortgage could rise significantly. CALL FOR URGENT ACTION! CoronadoBeat.com is one of the publications I do for the joy of it – and is not intended primarily as a Real Estate website. However, as a REALTOR® – it's important that I share my knowledge about what's going on in Real Estate both locally and nationally – especially when it affects Coronado. Today I want to share important information about the housing recovery, which most REALTOR's® and economists believe will be the primary rope that pull us out of this prolonged [...] Click To Open This Post

Today is a Beach Day in Coronado

surf in coronado

The weather is incredible today in Coronado – and it's a perfect day to come to the beach. Coronado has two great beaches, the main beach – located in The Village, and the south beach, located on the Silver Strand. Not a beach person? No problem. There are plenty of Public Park areas in on the Bay-Side in Coronado starting just under the Coronado Bay Bridge where there's a huge park, and then through the village just past the Hotel Del, there's plenty of picnicking areas on grass near the Boat Launch and the Community Center, then finally if you [...] Click To Open This Post
